Dear Edward:

I wanted to share a quick thought with you.

I believe we have an amazing film in BELLE; in the 15 years I’ve been working in the industry, I have never been involved as a principal with a script that is constantly getting such high praise – in fact, I haven’t sent it to one person that has not loved it.

The only other time in recent history that’s happened, was with a film I was trying to bring financing to, which is written by Bill Condon – a goddamn OSCAR factory. Itt’s the life story of Richard Pryor, and it’s the only script that was universally loved by anyone who read it – of course though, as Condon’s last 4 films have been nominated or won the golden statue…

Let’s no get ahead of ourselves but I think we’re sitting on gold…
